Comments
Comments: Wet granular (spring snow texture that didn't stick to snowshoes), with breakable crust starting to form. 1-2" of new snow down low, 2-6" over the upper 2/3rds of the trail. Wore snowshoes roundtrip. When I took off my snowshoes to climb the tower, I postholed 12". Firetower steps very icy.
