Nice easy hike up Mt. Pemi. Some minor areas of bare ice, but easily avoided. Trail was mostly hard packed snow. Barebooting possible, but had the microspikes, so threw them on to make the hike that much more enjoyable.
Tried to bushwhack down to the other ledge with better views we heard about, but must have started too far north on the summit and missed it. Just continued in a northeast direction till we hit the trail and headed down. Great little mountain with good views and some nice open ledge areas to have lunch on. |
