As John said yesterday trail was very well packed out to Starr King (Thanks everyone). From there over to Waumbek there was occasional drifting and the trail was filled in. The last .25 mile to the summit had 1-2 foot drifts. It snowed very hard today and was quite windy. Even those drifts were already filled back in upon our return. Perhaps 2 inches new snow by the time we finished. Thanks for the pizza Ali! |
