Comments
Comments: Snowshoes from parking lot to hut, more of the hikers today should used them. Used Hillsounds from hut to Madison and over and back from Adams. Snowshoes all the way down from hut. Valley Way is beat up or top two miles because of all of the bare-booters with huge packs. I asked a few of them, they weren't even carrying them! No wind, but no views either. Saw two large groups doing Madison, not a snowshoe among them.
By the time we got to Adams it was a challenge to find he cairns, most covered with snow and rime ice. Started snowing on the way down. Nice finally meet Big Earl & Sue who finished their grids on Madison. Congrats. Great day above treeline nice we canceled our Jefferson hike for tomorrow.
