Comments
Comments: Very little snow over the first .75 miles - one warm day will likely melt the field portion of the trail. 2-10" of new powder on Glencliff Trail (increasing with elevation), decently packed with snowshoes, though there are some postholes. I broke out the Carriage Road above the alpine warning sign - some pretty big drifts and some completely burried cairns can make navigation tricky. No ice. Carriage Road had ski tracks on it upon descent. I also broke out the spur trail to South Peak - ridiculously little clearance (3 feet) on the lower portion of trail. Drifts on summit of South Peak.
