the road into the parking area was plowed, but the parking proper was not. ice underneath the snow made a little pushing necessary to get my small car back out. |

nice snowshoe track up sandwich with good coverage on the steeper pitches. same to jennings with a little ice under the snow on the steeps. some drifting up high on sandwich. drakes brook was more roughly broken out up high then well tracked lower down. well packed snowshoe track out to fletchers cascade. we wore snowshoes the whole hike.
nice day. some views to nearby peaks and mostly sheltered from the wind until the upper part of sandwich which was quite windy and cold. first time on drakes brook which was a real pleasant descent route. thanks to bcann for a good hike.
