I decided to climb Moosilauke today. The Beaver Brook Trailhead is the shortest drive for me so I decided to try there first and would attempt via that route if it was broken out which it appeared to be. Turns out it was a bunch of skiers who hiked in and about a quarter mile in took there one route up and skied down. Seeing the trail was not broken out, I had no intention of breaking out this steep trail solo. I turned around and decided to attack the mountain from the other side. |
