Comments
Comments: Despite the trail being broken out just 2 days prior by Rocket21, Sunday night's storm dumped a lot of snow in the area. There were no signs of his tracks. There was one set of snowshoe tracks when I arrived. I caught up to this solo hiker at about 3000 feet. The snow got fairly deep in places after that, between 1-2 feet. Although a cloudy day, the summit was in the clear but if in the clouds the above treeline section may be difficult to navigate since most of the cairns are buried. Several hikers followed me up the mountain so there is a decent snowshoe track laid now.
