new snow, a heavy dusting low to a few inches of fluff high, over a solid base the whole way. unfortunately, the solid base is not very smooth. snowshoes would be excellent for this hike to smooth the base and pack the new snow. no ice, easy to get a grip in the snow. a big congratulations to Sunshine and Pemi who finished their SSW48 today on waumbek. |
