| Comments: |
Trail was very choppy/chewed up in the morning. Only one other hiker with snowshoes, the rest were bare boots or microspikes. Trail was better in the afternoon coming down, but some sections are still a series of deep foot prints and postholes. In some places it was just easier to go around them with my snowshoes. Wore snowshoes until almost the Red Spot junction, then barebooted to the summit. Put the snowshoes back on just below where I took them off. |
