All crossing bridged. We crossed some and didn't even notice them |

Many blowdowns and bendovers. Very deep snow pushes you into the tops of trees. |

Lauky had no problems on this hike. He never had to duck and had no problem getting up the side of Jackson where I had a great deal of difficulty. |

You will find yourself ducking and crawling even on the lower sections of the trail.
The higher you go the more you have to duck and crawl. At times the hike resembles a bushwhack.
High up, there are numerous false trail heading off to the right. Keep to your left. Just before the treeline there is a long section where you have to crawl.
The final ascent is not on a trail but straight up the side of Jackson. The snow is unconsolidated and I had to "swim" up a large section on my stomach. This part makes for a fairly strenuous climb. |
