One open crossing near the trailhead easily rock hopped |

The trails are in great condition with no obstacles at all |

A great hike for dogs. |

| Comments: |
The snow was very hard. I used my old spikes today as there was a mixture of snow and rock. Snowshoes might be useful on a warm day between Pipper and Belknap but I doubt many will use them. The snow will probably be off the south side of Piper in a week or two. |
