Comments
Comments: No snow of any significance until you arrive up on the ridge about 2600' then suddenly you are in the snow. Snowshoes could be used for a couple of short stretches but since they are short it probably is not worth carrying them all the way up there for that. However, when the snow really softens those short stretches could be difficult. There was no need for spikes today. If the High Ridge trail which was used by snowmobiles, turns to ice, spikes could be useful in that section.
