Wore snowshoes roundtrip - short Carriage Road walk covered with spring snow. Some ice/slush ice patches on Piper Trail, but generally spring snow. Better coverage than late January. Could probably boot with light traction to top of Piper Trail, however ridgewalk wasn't particularly well travelled, so snowshoes were very helpful. |
