| Water Crossing Notes: |
The first water crossing required walking over a fallen log. The second one, on the way down, was deep in spots and the rocks were far apart in spaces. Spring melt is starting. |

Good maintenance other than a couple blowdowns. |

| Comments: |
Wore spikes for pretty much the entire hike; probably would have turned back without them. The lower parts were broken out; the scramble to Jackson was slippery and icy; between Jackson and Webster, the trail was a unbroken, waist deep, posthole-y, spruce trap filled mess. Both peaks had good views, though, which made up for the rough walking. |
