| Comments: |
The trail started out very dry with a few muddy spots; as you getting higher in elevation it continued to become much wetter and then eventually icier. There were quite a bit of large icy spots that i would recommend bringing microspikes & even in one spot higher up called the "wall"; If you are over cautious i'd recommend crampons. Other than that it's definitely spring conditions. Lots of people hiking in basketball shorts and sneakers up there. However; lots of others turned around once getting to the snowy and icy parts of the trail.
Beautiful day up there! |
