Comments
Comments: Beautiful day with great am views of presidentials, layered in blowing snow with deep blue background. Barebooted to Zeta pass, snowshoes along the ridge following tracks partway. Bushwacked toward dome; crawl unders, many downed trees, spruce traps. Bailed in vicinity of col, .4 from summit - felt Grete, my German Shepherd, was working too hard during bushwack. Trails to Mt Hight and South Carter unbroken.
