| Comments: |
The hardest crossing was coming down the Red Ridge Trail at the junction with the Moat Mountain Trail. We went twenty yards upstream and were able to rock hop. There was about a quarter mile of snow and ice below the summit of North Moat, but we either walked around it or on it. No traction was necessary, and I am always the first to put it on..like a summer day up there, especially on the Red Ridge Trail.. |
