Water crossings were on dry rocks. |

Two large blowdowns on the Brook Trail, but both were easy to climb over. |

A few black flies out down in the parking lot. |

I lost the trail just before the junction with the Liberty Trail but just kept heading up until I found some blazes and got back on track. Many of the yellow paint blazes on the Brook Trail are faint and hard to find. Nearly all the snow is gone except for a couple of very small patches on Liberty Trail. Liberty Trail had a lot of muddy sections. |
