| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The large parking has plenty of space. I believe that at the end of may there will be a charge but it is free right now. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
No streams of any significance on these trails |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There is one major blowdown between the two peaks. If the branches were trimmed it would be a very easy walk under. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
This is a great dog hike. There is not a lot of water, but there are some scattered places where it can be found. |
| Bugs: |
The black flies were thick but not biting. I tried several repellents, I found my Eucalyptus spray to be the most effective in keeping them at bay. |
| Lost and Found: |

| Comments: |
Dogs are permitted but should be kept on a leash in the Miller State Park area. From the looks of the signs, once they start charging at the end of the month you will be expected to pay when you enter the park even if you come in by a route that starts outside the park. |
