Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail is in some serious need of TLC. A very large number of blowdowns on Kilkenny Ridge trail. Several of them are very large and disruptive, some coincided with remaining ice on steep parts of the ascent to Cabot, making them rather dangerous. Severe erosion on a couple steep parts of the approach to Cabot as well.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: This trail is very steep in places, it might be problematic for some dogs.
Bugs
Bugs: A few black flies, none really biting.

Comments
Comments: Amazing day for a beautiful hike. Had the trail to ourselves. The trail was very steep and icy in a few places, but only close to Cabot. Microspikes would be a good idea for that stretch of the hike. Should all be gone soon.
