Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: There is parking for three or four cars on the side of Bean (Squam Lake) Road, at the Eagle Cliff Trailhead (the small sign for which is easy to miss). There is no parking near the Teedie Trailhead, so hiking it entails a .4 mile roadwalk to/from the E.C. Trailhead.

Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Eagle Cliff Trail in fine shape. Teedie Trail obviously little-used (with good reason), but reasonably well-blazed and not difficult to follow.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: I saw blackflies, but my bug-repellent clothes and hat kept them off me, without spray or goop.

Comments
Comments: I love the Eagle Cliff Trail, which far surpasses the much more popular Red Hill Trail. The only reasons to hike the Teedie Trail are (1) you are at the top of Eagle Cliff and a thunderstorm is rolling in (not my case) or (2) redlining.
