Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: I found poles helpful with the slightly submerged rocks. Brook has jumped its bank in the usual spot creating flow of water on trail for 100-200 feet.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: AMC crew from Zealand were working on Willey Range Tr.. 1/2 dozen blowdowns one had to climb over\under earlier were gone by mid afternoon. Thanks much guys and thanks also to those removing blowdowns the past 3-4 months up here. By the looks of all the sawed off trees this must have been quite the task cleaning up this mess.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a yaktrax at brook crossing and brought it out leaving it at the kiosk.

Comments
Comments: Appeared to be minimal monorail under the new snow. Upper sections quite wet but the slushy snow will be gone quickly. Lower sections fairly dry. Cold showers from the trees today from Tom area to Field. Nice to have waterproof footwear as pretty much impossible keeping feet dry. Fantastic views from Willey lookout and Avalon. Beecher and Pearl Cascades flowing nicely. No traction necessary.
