Comments
Comments: To follow up on my earlier report about the Kate Sleeper trail... David, a volunteer with the Forest Service, has worked with the Wonalancet Outdoor Club to clean up the Kate Sleeper trail. On 6/13, the trail was cleaned up, with only 2 small changes to the route. They left a few stepovers and a couple of duck unders, but Kate Sleeper is now easy to follow and "very pleasant". If you are interested in working with the WODC, they will be having work days on 7/20 and 9/28. Meet at Ferncroft lot at 8:30am.
WODC has also done trail maintenance on these trails: Rollins, Old Mast Road, Dicey, Big Rock Cave, Tilton Springs, Blueberry Ledge.
I'd like to thank David and the WODC for their work on maintaining hiking trails. Much of what they do is "behind the scene". If you are interested in joining their efforts, please contact the WODC.
