The only crossing of note was bridged (literally), and all the minor crossings were easy hops. |

All trails up to Square Ledge were in good shape, though the Square Ledge Trail towards Paugus Pass was in rough shape. The corridor was very brushed in for long sections, and there were plentiful blowdowns along the way. |

Saw a couple on Square Ledge Trail, just before Passaconaway Cut-off, with two dogs, having a great time. |

Not really bothersome, they were around though, I seen em'! |

I led this as Meetup hike with three others, Elena, Dominic, and Mike. Originally we were going to do Paugus as well, but Dominic didn't have it in him, so we descended as a group down Old Mast Road. A cloudy morning gave way to bright sunshine in the afternoon. Questionable views from Hibbard, and questionable as to if we were even on Square Ledge, but we got some views either way. Met Hiker Ed in the lot, and had beers with him as he awaited Grid finisher #38, Mike Innis (sp?). Nice to see you again Ed, and a hearty congratulations to Mike for finishing your grid!
