Comments
Comments: Started about 11AM - just as it was getting hot and humid, which I'm sure helped with the bug population! Ha, no worries. Decent trail, even Guinea Pond was dry for the most part although we got to see a really big garter snake in a muddy spot. I think that was referred to as a "snake-invested mud pit". That might have been an overstatement but it was fun. LOTS of frogs singing - quite a cacophony! Summit was busy and views were hazy but it was lovely with just enough wind! Thank you to Tim for such a fun and quick hike for 1.7 miles of redlining on Mead!!!
