Comments
Comments: Trail mostly snow free first 1/2 mile. Next 1/2 mile patches of ice to all ice. Microspikes good through this part. Switched to snowshoes at about 1800' to prevent postholing. Trail in very good condition with a few rough sections and minor posthole damage. Didn't start till noon today so warm temps made for soft snow conditions. Beautiful on top. Actually too warm in the tower to stay inside for more than a few minutes. Wore snowshoes as far down as possible and tried to fill in postholed sections. Should be in good shape for the weekend.
