Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Nice bridges.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: As mentioned before, the lower Asquam-Ridge Trail has a lot of blowdowns from the storms, but they're all easy to get around. Thanks to the 3-person crew making ditches for waterbars on the upper Beaver Brook Trail.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Like a dog park or doggie daycare. Nice meeting all you friendly four-legged friends, especially Finnegan- GOOD BOY, and the black lab with the sporty red panniers- GOOD GIRL!
Bugs
Bugs: Not much trouble, except the mosquitoes when I stopped for a break upon reaching the Beaver Brook Trail.

Comments
Comments: The weather turned out to be much better than it could have been, making for decent viewing conditions and pretty comfortable hiking. On Mt. Blue, I found a herd path that was well defined, easy to follow if meandering, and mostly clear, though it wasn't the only one there. As a result, I was able to find my first "off trail" canister, which was really fun.
