|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Several blow downs that were easily navigated. There was one about .2 or so below the summit that fell lengthwise rather than crosswise to the trail. It could only be passed by walking along the trunk for 6-8 feet. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw one. Plenty of water along the trail so he seemed ok even with the heat. |
|
| Bugs: |
Damn things! Not bad as long as we were moving. The lower part of the trail was mostly mosquitoes due to lots of standing water. Oddly enough the upper part was mostly plain old houseflies. There was a stray deer fly or two but they weren't bad; until one bit you. |

| Lost and Found: |
None. |

Reposted since I forgot the trail on the first post.
A nice trail. Easy grades until the last mile when it got kinda steep. Nice breeze on the summit. There was probably 15 people up there but the groups were spread out so you still had some privacy.
The fire tower had some recent work done to the floor joists and cabling. |
