New bog bridges installed on the Royce Trail just uphill from the Royce Connector. The Royce Trail just below the junction with the Laughing Lion Trail is full of roots and is rocky.

Comments
Comments: The hike was a nice loop with only a short road walk from Basin Campground back to Brickett Place. There were lots of waterfalls especially along the Royce Trail. Be sure to stop at Mad River Falls off the Royce Trail and Hermit Falls off the Basin Trail. Saw only one other hiker all day.
