Bugs: insect activity especially between the first two crossings on the Avalon trail. No bites though :)

Lost and Found: HERE IS THE MAIN REASON FOR THIS POST: I found a very valuable item at the summit of Mt. Tom. If it is yours you will know what it is without question. Find me on VFFT.Org and provide some details. I will be sure to get it to you.

Comments: I didn't need Willey for August, which made for a pretty quick hike. I added Willard at the last minute just to see what it was all about. A great family trail and a very nice pay off.
