Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Something I have never before seen in the Whites. There were two dogs on the trail that had something around their necks and they were connected to their owners by some sort of rope. When I inquired the owners said they were........leashes!!! I thought leashes were only used to keep children under control. AMAZING!!!
Bugs
Bugs: They were annoying but I kept all my blood!!

Comments
Comments: I hiked for the cycle today. Redlining, Grid Peaks, NEHH, and Sandwich Creamery. It was a good way to end the summer before heading back to school. I saw eight people today and four of them were at 830am on the ledges at the Rollins Trail/Blueberry Ledge jct.

There is no reason to hike the Tom Wiggin Trail unless you are redlining or are lacking spider webs in your diet. The trail is steep but that is about it. There are no views and nothing fun about the trail. If you have bad arches in your feet avoid this trail as you will be on your toes most of the way.
