| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
plenty of parking at Wild River Campground - I was surprised to see the "full" sign at the campground mid-week!!!! |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All rock-hoppable (barely!) |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Eagle Link has really grown in since last year - LOTS of hobblebush and the raspberries are sneaking in there - I split the trail using my poles. Also, LOTS of blowdowns!!!! Highwater Trail is VERY vague at times - especially near all the water crossings. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
plenty of water |
| Bugs: |
HORRIBLE!!!!! Last half of hike was CRAZY-buggy with the in-your-eyes-type. Needed one hand free to swat... forget using poles!!!! |

| Comments: |
Nice loop with great views - lots of ups and downs and minimal people - only saw 4 people all day!!!! Finally saw some relics along Wild River Trail and some of the log railroad sidings I had a chance to explore - some TWISTED rail in there!!!!! :) Last day of summer vacation hike for me... :( |
