Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of parking at the AMC Cardigan Lodge. (We wait until about 1:00 or 2:00 pm to arrive, and what was once a full lot starts to open up a bit. By the time we finish, the lot is almost completely empty.)
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Not an issue.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few small cairns on the Manning Trail within the first 0.2 miles of the Mowglis Trail have been tipped over and (may) require re-building.

Trails are in excellent shape -- waterbars clear, no blowdowns, erosion is at a minimum, and there appears to be some (fine) new rock work on the Manning Trail to address a previously eroded section. These trails receive a good amount of attention, and it shows.
