Comments
Comments: Trails are in good shape but there is one section of the CRT that has quite a bit of mud and standing water - maybe half way between Doublehead and Squam. With the leaves coming down a little attention needs to be paid to footing and staying on the trail - which may not be completely obvious in spots due to faded and sporadic blazing.

Spent the day in the fog so otherwise good views were non-existant but still a good day to be out. While I only saw two other folks on this hike, the Morgan/West Rattlesnake lots a couple of miles away were jammed in the afternoon with many parked on the road and a police officer controlling the area.
