South of the summit/firetower area, trail is easy to follow to the cliffs. Spur to mine area is well-maintained at first but then filled with numerous old blowdowns; there are spray-painted white spots for blazes and occasional TINY cairns. |

Very interesting area - cool firetower remains, awesome views from cliffs, interesting mine area!!!! Terrific area!!!!! Saw a few people poking around, but, on descent I was the last one out. FUN!!!! |
