Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: drove north-south road from high st. in glencliff up to about its height of land at a prominent intersection with another gated forest road. room to park here in theory, but had a couple trucks already there so i pulled off the side of the road just to the north.

Comments
Comments: i walked back just to the south of the junction and took a direct line for the summit ultimately hitting the ridgeline about 100 yards north of the high point. some stands of young beech and some blowdown low, but the woods were beautiful and wide open up high. blaze orange in full effect for off trail hiking particularly in areas like this where hunters are clearly out in the woods as well.

a short, but very enjoyable bushwhack through beautiful woods to jeffers. nice views back to clough and the south peak of moosilauke. great morning to be out.
