Comments
Comments: Great Random Hike! Thanks to Bob & Geri, Steve and Chris for joining us on NEHH trek. Used the Brookway maintenance roadway (far left or east) to Camp III then Lower Walking Boss to Upper Walking Boss (far left or east ski trail)to just below the top where the ski lift is. Look for the "Out of Bounds" sign. There is a herd path (backcountry ski trail) to Black Mountain. After 0.6 miles ~ 20 minutes when the path turns north, start the bushwhack with a SE bearing heading up the ridge through mostly open woods. Once the top of the ridge is attained ~ 3700' +/- follow ridge - find a herd path going east and find canister and sign, Reverse.
