Comments
Comments: Frankenstein Cliff Trail is steep, eroded, and crumbly on the initial steeps. Make sure you stick to the hiker trail on the way up...don't accidentally veer off onto one of the climber trails. Follow the bright yellow blazes. Not much of a view on the cliffs today. Socked in.

Arethusa Falls felt like a sidewalk compared with Frankenstein Cliff Trail. Smooth footing, bridges, etc. The Falls are beautiful.

Bemis Brook Trail is a summer's day delight. Numerous places for swimming. Gorgeous!!

We got sleet, snow, and hail today. Nothing stuck on the ground. Max didn't like the hail. Kept trying to bite it as it came down from the sky. He was much happier when the sunshine returned. His hiking days are numbered for this calendar year - he doesn't like the snow, so I guess he only has a few more Mondays before retiring until spring.
