Comments
Comments: Airline was in good condition after overnight rain and snow flurries, only a few wet spots and no ice. Very windy yesterday above treeline but rocks were dry so footing was OK. Decided to go down Valley Way to avoid more wind-buffeting but ended up wishing we'd sucked up the wind and taken Airline, as VW was wet and icy pretty much all the way down to the section where you come off all the rocks. Very slippery, slow going. Careful foot placement and poles kept us on our feet!
