Bill and his dog Stanley, Bob and myself went up Algonquin. I'd only done the Dome once before from RT-49 on Waterville side. Pleasant approach before the steeps, some good scrambles here with fantastic views. Beautiful day to be out, saw several people, most coming from Waterville side. Thanks to Bill for the suggestion. I would consider a loop up Algonquin and down Sandwich Mt trail to be among the top 15 of my New Englands prettiest hikes list |
