| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Last couple tenths of Howe Hill Road is for high clearance vehicles only. My Subaru Outback made it just fine, but my old Honda Civic would have gotten stuck. There's a spot or two just before the "Park ---> " sign for low clearance vehicles. Be sure not to park in front of anyone's driveway. |

Well maintained trail. In spite of the recent rain, the trail was usually more damp than wet (excellent drainage). |

Black Mountain in Benton
Easy way up Black Mountain. Felt like one mile instead of 2.4. Gloomy day, but it didn't rain on us. Had the trail and the summit to ourselves. |
