Comments
Comments: The only ice flows were at the start of the Mt Langdon Trail and on the north side of Oak Ridge. Microspikes were adequate to handle these areas. Otherwise it was either minimal snow or leaf surfaces with a hint a pliable frozen slush underneath. There was a short section of running water in the trail near the point the Mt Langdon Trail headed off the logging roads in to the woods. Although there are logging roads diverging or crossing the Mt Langdon Trail in its lower section, the pathway is rather obvious and there are a few signs marking the trail direction.
It appeared that nobody had continued on the Mt Parker Trail towards Mt Resolution. There were some views from the open summit area on Mt Parker. Unfortunately Mt Washington was cloaked in clouds. Saw two hikers from Vermont and near the trailhead there was a family of five from Attleborough, Ma.
