Easy walking up Cherry Mountain Tr all the way to the Mt Martha Summit. Two steep icy spots on the approach to Owl's Head that required care. This was one of the best and unusual views of the entire Presidential Range. Definitely a huge bang for little effort. Several viewpoints on Mt Martha- one at the P-range and the other (now that the wind took out some trees) toward the South West toward the Franconia Ridge. |
