Comments
Comments: the right branch of the loop trail had been roughly broken out up to the firetower. from there all trails leaving looked to be pretty well packed out. i continued on the trail towards little blue job shortly branching off on a side trail that leads down ledges and winds around to the pond between the peaks. i then continued on unbroken trail around the northeast end of little blue job before turning and heading up ledges to its summit. a foot plus of snow with some deeper drifting. around the open top much of the snow was blown clear with just a thin crusty covering remaining. from little blue job i followed the main route back to the parking lot and it was nicely packed out the whole way.

i wore snowshoes the whole hike.

after exploring some other local peaks in the morning i took a swing around blue job as the snow started to pick up. cold, but not windy and some local views remained to hussey, chesley, nubble and parker. great to be out.
