Did a S-N winter traverse with group of 4 Christmas day. Rain on 12/23 had melted off most of the snow and ice; the water did not stick around to freeze. Plenty of bare rock with scattered patches of snow. A few short icy sections, especially on Pumpelly just below the first viewpoint but none of us felt the need to put our traction on. |
