After being turned back from the Tripyramids, we drove a while, and ended up in Sandwich. Turned out to be a perfect hike. Some sun, some moody clouds, and not much wind. Decent views from the top... though since I still "need" to come back for the Mead Trail, I'll try and pick a clear day for the next time. Spikes car to car. Some large ice flows in the upper reaches required a bit of care. |
