Did not deem it safe to cross Drakes Brook, so we bushwacked from the road to the trail in both directions. |

Sandwich Mountain Trail was extremely icy, but the return down Drakes Brook Trail was mostly relatively shallow snow (6-12 inches) with a breakable crust. |
