| Comments: |
Moderate snowfall most of the day. Trail is Barebootable in lower woods. Light traction essential in upper sections as lots of sheer ice under 3 to 4 inches of new powder. Hillsounds for sure. Summit was near Gale conditions with falling temps by noon. Approx 4.2 mi out and back. Saw no one all day. Ideal winter hike. With conditions such as they are, snowshoes stayed in the car. No regrets. |
