Comments
Comments: After an overnight snowstorm, the trail had a few inches at the base, and nearly a foot at the top. I'm sure it will melt rapidly now. We lost the trail in the ledgy area 2/3 of the way up since there were no tracks and no blazes (no VISIBLE blazes, since they were painted on snow-covered rocks). Near the top, some sections of crumbly monorail beneath the new snow, but nothing troublesome. One or two icy sections. Gaiters were very helpful, but conditions didn't warrant snowshoes or traction.
